​Inquire about the Small Brain Aneurysm Project here. This is a multi-center study focused on identifying
 patients at higher risk of brain aneurysm rupture, led by Dr. Bekelis as the principal investigator
. If you have a brain aneurysm that is currently monitored with imaging, you might be eligible for participation!

We may have requested your permission to “opt in” to having The Brain and Aneurysm Center of Long Island send you texts while you are a patient. These texts may be sent periodically to let you know the status of a service inquiry or issue. You have the right to opt out of us sending you texts at any time by:

  • Calling, emailing or texting the office of The Brain and Aneurysm Center of Long Island,
  • Calling our main number 631-983-7072; or,
  • Replying “STOP” to any of our texts sent to you; or,
 
You have the right to receive a paper copy of the privacy policy of this notice upon request. The texts we send to you may be subject to messaging and data rates. Under no circumstances will your personal data including text “opt in” or “opt out”: data be sold to a third party/affiliate or used by a third party/affiliate for marketing purposes. Our patients can receive help by responding with the word “HELP” on any text they receive. If “HELP” is sent back to us, then someone from the office or front desk staff will assist. Any patient can stop receiving texts from the Brain and Aneurysm Center of Long Island by responding to any text with the word “STOP.” If “STOP” is sent back to us, an administrator will update the system so that the client will not receive any future texts. Message frequency varies per week. No mobile opt-in data will be shared with third parties. Message and data rates apply.
